SmartScreen
has been working very
closely with two other Manchester based companies to produce new
exhibits for a variety of British visitor attractions since February
this year. Soon these will be on display for all to see, one to
keep a particular eye out for is our historic ship simulation, which
will be based at the new building at the SS Great Britain museum
in Bristol. Check out the portfolio pages for screen shots and perhaps
even some moving footage.

2005
SmartScreen are currently
putting the finishing touches to the historic ship simulator, which
should be installed at it's home in Bristol during May 2005.
We have entered a very busy period indeed, with work currently being
developed for four separate visitor centres and museums. Our developmental
educational aspirations are having to take a medium term-long term
development pattern now, but they remain a key area of our focus.

is now researching into developing 2d applications and products
for PDA's based on Windows CE. This exciting technology enables
SmartScreen to develop impressive portable games and applications.

Linux, and Windows CE and Apple Mac OSX (OSX via the Internet.) |

This year, SmartScreen
will continue to develop it's core technology along with producing
some new technical demos
and videos.
Our main emphasis will remain in the domain of interactive,
real-time 3D
simulations, games and multimedia products. Some
crossplatform capability will be introduced for our DirectX 2D games
production.
In
the immediate future, development
of a historic ship simulation will continue. Screen shots may be
available by the end of March/April 2005.
SmartScreen is intending to take SmartScape into the classroom this
year, by developing some incredible products for education, in association
with local schools and businesses, more news on this to follow.

SmartScreen launched it's first simple shareware game for PC, 'Snowball
Scramble'. The game can be personalised or just have the 'nag' screen
removed by sending an e-mail to the link below
and paying a small fee.

2004
Work has now begun on a ship simulator for a visitor centre in
the UK. SmartScreen are delighted to be involved in this prestigious
project which features a historic ship. The simulator will be unveiled
in the second quater of 2005. We'll be bringing more news as this
project develops.

SmartScreen is currently working with the nuclear industry to develop
an interactive real-time 3D radiation doseage simulation. Some 'in
simulation' screen shots below show the progress of the environment
modelling and lighting.

New sections will become available as the month progresses, standby
